I joined Rainbow Six: Siege (aka Siege) at the beginning of Year 8, Season 1 (March 2023).
I assisted both GD and UX designers (9-10 designers) across three distinct teams: Onboarding, Playlist, and Balancing. My role encompassed supporting their ongoing work and clarifying the design direction for these teams. As well as supporting all the designers as their line manager.
Furthermore, the team and I had to focus on delivering new content (every 3 months) while working to develop the biggest season the game has ever seen for Year 10, Season 2. Which proved to be extra difficult because we were working to transform our game to be F2P.
The images below show the features over the years I’ve helped contribute.

These years brought an immense amount of challenge due to the enormous team size of hundreds of developers working together in a co-development environment (~5 Ubisoft studios). The teamwork and coordination were tough, but we managed to bring about incremental improvements to the game to retain and bring back even more players after the pandemic.
