I was on the Genies & Gems team during it's pre-production to its second year live.
During our soft launch I helped contribute to our best practices for level design and tune levels to better help the players experience.
Once releasing globally in Feb. 16 I continued to help polish our core gameplay by improving on rules to our gameplay systems. (Notable examples, improving on the 'butterfly' A.I. and special interactions between obstacles.)
Besides polishing I was researching the market to see how our match-3 can break new boundaries. Coming up with new design systems to add, new obstacles, and new events.
